Services we provide:
Professional development workshops: Tailored to your organization’s needs, workshops provide practical strategies and tailored assistance in incorporating outdoor learning with math and reading/writing instruction. Sessions can be virtual or in person. In-person workshops include hands-on learning opportunities that give attendees the opportunity to experience various outdoor learning strategies. The length of workshops varies according to the client’s needs. The most popular format is a half-day session.
Presentations: Interested in having Rachel give a presentation at your conference, meeting, or organization? Presentations are customized based on the topic and target audience. Presentations can be virtual or in person.
Consultations: Through individual or team consultations, Rachel can help you plan, brainstorm, coach, and problem solve based on your personal or group’s needs. Sessions can be virtual or in person depending on location. A questionnaire will be provided before the session to help identify session goals, as well as a follow-up email with a summary and any resources recommended will be provided after the session.
Homeschool help: Homeschooling can be hard! We could all use an experienced friend to ask for advice and bounce ideas off. Through a relaxed and friendly conversation, Rachel can help you plan and set goals, implement routines, strategies for teaching a child with learning difficulties at home, help you decide if homeschooling is right for your family, get started homeschooling, or incorporate more outdoor learning into your week! Sessions typically are 1 hour in length and are conducted virtually unless local to the Ithaca, NY area. A questionnaire will be provided before the session to help identify session goals, as well as a follow-up email with a summary and any resources recommended will be provided after the session. Cost: Back-to-school special $65 per 1 hr. session
