The completely redesigned Wild Math Kindergarten now contains a year’s worth of weekly plans! (3rd Edition Released March 2021)
This kindergarten curriculum takes math outdoors where it is naturally hands-on and involves touching, seeing, hearing, smelling, and even tasting. It engages all of the senses and includes plenty of movement. Kindergarten math is meant to be active and fun! Watch how the natural environment makes concepts more concrete and increases children’s attention spans.
You’ll find all the units and skills typically covered in kindergarten math, plus practice activities. Each unit also has a list of my favorite math books and games that are great played outside in warm weather and inside in extreme weather or on dark winter evenings.
This new 3rd edition now includes a full year (38 weeks) of plans, as well as a blank planning sheet to help you tailor Wild Math to the needs of your child/ren or students.
Suggested materials and gear for learning outside are included, as well as tips for families learning math outside in urbanized areas.
(see the thumbnails of the table of contents to see each skill covered)
Wild Math Kindergarten is 50 pages in length, plus 40 planning pages (90 page document total). The curriculum is provided in a PDF file format. You will receive a link to download the document to the email address used in the payment process or your PayPal email.
