This literature unit is based on the book The Hike by Alison Farrell.
The Hike by Alison Farrell tells the story of three adventurous girls who go on a hike to the top of a mountain. Throughout the story, you will find plants, animals, and other special things labeled in the illustrations. These, along with examples of their nature journal entries, add an educational component to the fictional story.
In this unit, children will listen and discuss the story, and choose one or more activities related to the picture book The Hike by Alison Farrell.
